Brian Corbin is a VP, Legal Solutions and Operational Excellence, at QuisLex, where he leads initiatives across each of the firm’s managed service lines to optimize legal and compliance processes for QuisLex’s corporate and law firm clients. He has 20 years of experience in the legal industry, and before joining QuisLex, he served as an Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel, with JPMorgan Chase. There he managed teams spread across four continents and oversaw a global partnership between lawyers, technologists, data analysts, law firms and ALSPs to drive change through onshore and offshore right-sourcing, continuous process improvements, and delivering enterprise-class software and legal automation solutions to the bank.
Earlier in his career, Corbin managed offshore service delivery at a legal managed services company in Bangalore, India, and practiced at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. He is based in Berlin, Germany.
Kayann Fitzgerald
Kayann is the Director of eDiscovery and Practice Technologies at Davis, Wright, Tremaine LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm. With her extensive experience and knowledge of law firm operations, specifically related to litigation, ESI, and eDiscovery, she has a deep understanding of industry best practices and key performance indicators to drive business and strategic goals. In her current role, Kayann oversees the firm's in-house eDiscovery department and support professionals, ensuring consistent and exceptional work product and service delivery. In addition, she collaborates with the firm’s Information Governance department and Security Office to promote and maintain the highest of standards associated with data hygiene and data security. Kayann has developed and implemented firm-wide eDiscovery initiatives, managed service provider relationships and contracts, and conducted in-house trainings for attorneys and staff. She is regularly called upon to evaluate, develop, audit, and deploy defensible technologies, case strategies, and project management concepts, both in-house and on matters involving external resources. Kayann’s unique background and skill set allows her to interpret and collaborate across numerous law firm practice groups, further optimizing efficiencies and advantages for the firm and its clients, while empowering practitioners at all levels. Additionally, Kayann has mentored and directed litigation paralegal departments and document review teams, has been an active participate on client advisory boards, and has presented on numerous panels including at LegalWeek, IPE/NBI seminars, and Women in eDiscovery.
Lourdes Fuentes
Lourdes Fuentes is the Founder and CEO of Karta Legal, an award-winning consultancy transforming legal practice management and operations. She launched Karta Legal to bridge the gap between traditional legal practices and the transformative potential of technology, empowering law firms and legal departments to operate more efficiently, ethically, and innovatively.
A seasoned litigator admitted to practice in New York, Washington, D.C., and before the U.S. Supreme Court, Lourdes combines deep legal expertise with technological insight. Her areas of specialization include generative AI, eDiscovery, data privacy, cybersecurity, and process optimization. Under her leadership, Karta Legal was named a 2021 National Law Journal Technology Trailblazer for its innovative, three-pronged approach to legal transformation: training, process refinement, and strategic technology alignment.
A graduate of Penn Law, Lourdes holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Legal Project Management, and Privacy. She is a pioneer in change management within the legal sector and a frequent speaker on topics such as generative AI, data privacy, and the gender gap in law and technology. As a Latina leader in a predominantly homogeneous industry, Lourdes is passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of diverse legal professionals.
Honored as a 2024 ABA Women of Legal Tech recipient for her groundbreaking contributions at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, Lourdes continues to advance the legal profession through her work with Karta Legal and her involvement with Legal Data Intelligence (LDI) Architects. Her commitment to innovation, inclusion, and excellence serves as a guiding force in shaping the future of legal operations.
Jason Kairalla
Jason Kairalla is Director of Operations and Lawyer in Residence at Prevail.ai, an AI-powered digital platform supporting remote, hybrid, and in-person regulatory, administrative, and legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
Jason is an experienced litigator, legal innovation lead, and former federal judicial law clerk. He chaired the Federal Court Practice Committee of the Florida Bar Association and co-chaired the American Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee. For nearly twenty years, he worked as an innovation lead and litigator in elite American law firms representing sophisticated clients in complex cases. His practice involved defending individual and class-action cases on behalf of financial services institutions. He also litigated complex business disputes and matters of constitutional, environmental/land use, media, and intellectual property law. He advises, speaks, and writes on legal issues presented by new technology, including AI technology and e-discovery.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where was a member of the Law Review, Order of Coif, and Iron Arrow Honor Society. He has a Bachelors in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of MIami’s Herbert Business School, both with high honors.
Michael R. Mendola
Michael R. Mendola is the Director of eDiscovery and Data Governance at Discover. He founded the legal eDiscovery function at Discover and built a team to support the broader organization across all phases of the EDRM. Michael specializes in providing advice and counsel on electronic discovery, data/records management and information governance. Previously, Michael served as Senior Vice-President at HSBC Bank USA, where he founded the eDiscovery function as well.
Carl Morrison
Carl Morrison is a distinguished professional in the legal field, and Accredited Legal Operations Professional (ALOP), recently joining the Otsuka Pharmaceuticals team as Senior Manager, Legal Operations, leveraging his skills in information governance, eDiscovery, data privacy, and analytics. Before this, he was the Chief of Staff, Legal Data Intelligence Strategy, at modCounsel.
Morrison is renowned for his expertise in legal operations, where he has significantly contributed to the development of foundational education for legal operations professionals, focusing on areas such as Service Delivery Models, Information Governance, Project Management, and Firm & Vendor Management. His skills extend to legal data intelligence, where he adeptly navigates the complexities of data challenges across various use cases, helping senior leadership run the legal department as a business. His commitment to the legal industry is evident through his active involvement in organizations like the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC).
Morrison’s dedication to enhancing the legal industry is further demonstrated by his role as a Legal Tech Innovation Roundtable Advisor, a World 50 company, where he provides mentorship to innovative legal technology companies. His ability to integrate technology and legal expertise makes him an asset in the evolving landscape of legal operations and data intelligence.
Richard Robinson
Rich Robinson is a seasoned professional in the legal-technology field with a career spanning over two decades. A graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Psychology, Rich began his legal technology journey in 1999 in the IT department at Mintz Levin, a prominent law firm in Boston. His extensive experience includes various roles in IT and Litigation Support at large and medium-sized law firms in Boston, MA, Providence, RI, Austin, TX, and Dallas, TX.
Rich has also served as a national eDiscovery Consultant for a service provider before moving into corporate legal operations as the eDiscovery and Information Manager for JCPenney. In 2019, he joined Toyota as the Director of Legal Operations and Litigation Support, bringing his wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company.
In addition to his professional roles, Rich is a founding board member of the bDiscovery and ACEDS chapters in Dallas and a member of the Education Advisory Committee for CLOC. He is a member of numerous advisory boards, including the City Advisory Board for Law Rocks Dallas. He is a sought-after speaker at eDiscovery and Legal Operations conferences nationwide, sharing his insights and experiences with the broader legal-technology community.

Joe Bartolo
Joe Bartolo is a former litigator in New York State, with more than 10 years of experience working for e-discovery providers. Joe is a VP in the Metro New York Chapter of ACEDS and the co-chair of their Educational Committee. He is a former working group leader in the EDRM and has instructed continuing legal education courses about e-discovery throughout the United States. Joe received a Juris Doctorate Degree from Rutgers School of Law – Newark in 1992, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from New York University in 1989.
Ryan Costello
With a career that spans Washington, D.C., Dublin, Brussels, and Rome, Ryan has cultivated an expertise in data protection and data privacy compliance across a career in eDiscovery and litigation support. With a particular interest in the area where cross-border discovery and data protection intersect, Ryan has worked with a myriad of clients to manage EU-based eDiscovery exercises while navigating data protection compliance challenges on both sides of “The Pond.” With the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) amidst other changes in the regulatory context, Ryan has assisted organizations in remediating cross-border discovery risks at every turn, with an eye toward solutions that utilize best practice technical and organizational measures, data management solutions and innovative technologies.

Chris Haley is an experienced e-discovery and legal technology leader with an extensive 25+ year career in the field. His current role at Relativity includes consulting with e-discovery and legal technology professionals on ways to leverage artificial intelligence in their workflows to improve results and key value drivers for their services.
Michael C. Kearney
Michael leverages his background in technology, law, and consulting, as well as extensive experience providing advice and developing technical solutions and processes to address complex issues related to electronically stored information (ESI). He advises clients regarding data protection, information privacy, information governance, eDiscovery, and emerging artificial intelligence issues. At Redgrave LLP, Michael focuses on extracting, analyzing, and visualizing structured and unstructured data, and advises clients on tools and processes to help litigation and project teams understand data and develop effective case and project strategies. He also speaks and writes on recent advancements in artificial intelligence and related impacts to the fields of privacy, information governance, security, and eDiscovery. Michael is a certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP). Before rejoining Redgrave LLP in 2024, Michael was the Head Solutions Architect at Redgrave Data. He also served as a Legal Technology Solutions Architect at Hogan Lovells and managed an information security risk department team and Wells Fargo.
Rachel McAdams
Rachel McAdams is an eDiscovery expert and has extensive hands-on experience at all stages of the eDiscovery lifecycle. Her career spans various roles at service providers and law firms, working on matters spanning the globe. Her hands-on experience has enabled Rachel to develop a deep understanding of how the delivery of eDiscovery services can be perfected for corporate and law firm clients.
McAdams has a passion for helping her clients understand how eDiscovery process and technology can influence case strategy and has significant experience in assisting legal teams with navigating local and international disclosure practices.
McAdams is active in the local and global eDiscovery community, and holds leadership roles at Women in eDiscovery Dublin and the International Legal Technology Association. In 2020, McAdams was awarded the Relativity Innovation Award for Litigation Support in recognition of her work.
George Phillips
George is a dynamic leader with over 24 years of experience in eDiscovery. Focused on operations management, he has worked to hone and improve a wide range of eDiscovery disciplines. For the last 14 years as the head of Morgan Lewis eData’s global technology stack and application development, he oversees data collection, preservation, processing, search and analysis, hosting, review platforms, forensics, and production—managed within on-premise data centers and cloud resources—while driving cutting-edge solutions and technology innovation.
A passionate advocate for continuous learning, George excels in mentoring teams, fostering talent, and leading with a metrics-based approach rooted in quality management methodologies. He specializes in identifying inefficiencies and crafting elegant, streamlined solutions, leveraging technology to reduce waste, optimize processes, and automate workflows. With a relentless focus on innovation and growth, George has established himself as a transformative force in developing advanced applications and optimizing operational systems.
Lisa Ripley
Lisa Ripley is the Senior Director of eDiscovery and Information Governance at Oracle. As an experienced leader managing two global functions at Oracle, she fosters the use and integration of emerging technologies in a defensible manner to address complex audits, litigations, investigations, and M&A activities.
She lives in the land where geek and legal meet to tackle challenging problems. She loves talking about forensics, legal tech, and the challenges of dealing with the ever-increasing data types and volumes that eDiscovery must address. Lisa has a cybersecurity, investigative, legal and technical background. She holds both the CISSP and CEDS certifications. Professional certification and the CEDS - Certified E-Discovery Specialist certification.
Rob Robinson
As Chief Marketing Officer of HaystackID, Rob has been responsible since 2018 for the strategic planning and tactical execution of all company marketing efforts supporting the company's brand, technologies, and services. Currently, Rob is a member of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) Advisory Committee and, most recently, was selected as a participant in the Legal Data Intelligence (LDI) initiative as an LDI Architect supporting the Data Protection Compliance group.
Rob Robinson is also a distinguished publisher and writer with extensive experience in techno-journalism. As the publisher and editor of ComplexDiscovery.com, he delivers in-depth insights into cybersecurity, information governance, and eDiscovery, establishing the platform as a trusted resource for industry professionals. A five-time selectee for JD Supra's Readers' Choice Top Author Award, Rob also serves as the Editor of Newsline by HaystackID, an influential industry news outlet. His thought leadership extends through regular contributions to JD Supra, Emerging Europe, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), where he continues to shape key discussions in the field of legal technology. He is also a member of the National Writers Union (NWU), the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), The Authors Guild, and the Forbes Communications Council.
Rob has held a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) designation from ACEDS, a Certificate of eDiscovery from the Electronic Discovery and Evidence Training Institute, and Brainspace Certified Analyst, Specialist, and Administrator certifications. Rob also holds certifications for X-Road® Fundamentals, Security Server Administration, Central Server Administration, Service Developer, and Sustainability in Software Development from the Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions, Reveal AI certification, OSINT Basic and Advanced Training from Molfar, and recently completed certifications for Prompt Engineering Specialization for ChatGPT, ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis, and Trustworthy Generative AI from Vanderbilt University. Odette Claridge
Odette has been immersed in legal data for over a decade and has found her passion in solving unique eDiscovery challenges. In her previous role as Solutions Advisor at ProSearch, she harnessed her love of learning as she continued to test and implement the latest technologies in the market for her client teams. She also advised on the best use cases for tools and workflows in fast moving investigations and leads Data Insights teams in accomplishing this effort. Prior to ProSearch, Odette worked at a variety of large and mid-sized legal service providers as a Project Manager and a Document Review Attorney.
Odette is an Arizona native, hailing from Sedona and a graduate of Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College with a B.A. in Political Science. Wanting a break from the constant sunshine, Odette moved to Boston to attend New England Law and lived in D.C. and New York for internships during the summers to experience the east coast before returning to Arizona to take the bar exam and begin her legal career.

His expertise includes leading hundreds of investigations and litigations from a technical perspective, ensuring robust legal support and transformation. Tim's strategic vision and leadership have driven the development of standardized processes and resource optimization, contributing significantly to AstraZeneca's legal service excellence.
Tara S. Lawler
Tara Lawler is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in strategic discovery portfolio management and data governance. She skillfully navigates the complex intersection of legal and technical issues, focusing on discovery, information governance (IG), data privacy, security, and artificial intelligence (AI). Tara routinely partners with clients' in-house legal and technology teams to assess, develop and implement best practices for discovery and data management, aiming to minimize risks, enhance efficiency, and ensure legal compliance.
Her work involves drafting and revising policies and templates, creating training programs, and overseeing their implementation. She has conducted comprehensive discovery assessments for numerous global clients, working with internal teams to evaluate current practices, protocols, and tools. Tara provides recommendations to align with best practices, reduce risks, and improve efficiency.
Tara has experience assisting clients with data management during divestitures, acquisitions, and mergers. She advises on establishing protocols for identifying and segregating data during structural changes and onboarding data from new acquisitions. Tara guides clients through the complexities of retaining data for ongoing legal obligations, ensuring effective management within new company structures.
Tara represents major pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in high-stakes product liability, multidistrict litigation (MDL), and government investigations. She manages the entire discovery process, including negotiating discovery scope, timing, and discovery-related protocols (such as ESI protocols, protective orders, plaintiff and defense fact sheets, etc.). Clients value her extensive experience as national discovery counsel, especially her advice on complex discovery issues and implementation of defensible, consistent, and cost-effective strategies. Tara also assists with written discovery, prepares witnesses (including Rule 30(b)(6) discovery-related topics), and collaborates with merits counsel on various issues.
Tara frequently speaks at continuing legal education classes, seminars, and webcasts, focusing on strategy, best practices, and case law updates in discovery, IG, and AI.
Jenya Moshkovich
Jenya Moshkovich is Assistant General Counsel and Head of eDiscovery for Roche and Genentech. Jenya leads the global eDiscovery function and advises legal teams on eDiscovery topics and strategies. Prior to joining Roche, Jenya was a litigation partner at a national law firm where she focused on electronic discovery and product liability defense for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.
Virginia Ring
Virginia Duke Ring is a Principal at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP and a key leader of the LitSmart® E-Discovery Team. She drives the development and implementation of customized legal solutions, combining cutting-edge technology and strategic workflows to address complex legal and data management challenges. As an industry leader, Virginia integrates AI-driven tools into her solutions, leveraging advanced technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness for clients.
Virginia’s expertise lies in aligning technology with client goals, crafting innovative tools and processes that deliver measurable results, including real-time insights and comprehensive tracking mechanisms for project transparency. She leads her team’s AI initiatives, overseeing the creation of workflows that harness the power of AI to streamline operations and solve unique client challenges. In addition, she directs quality control efforts, implementing rigorous protocols and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across all services.
With over 14 years at Kilpatrick, Virginia has grown from a junior attorney into a trailblazer in legal tech innovation and e-discovery. She is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and earned her B.A. summa cum laude from Auburn University.

Recommended Canadian Lexology Index E-Discovery practitioner, Danny’s background in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph gave him the ability to understand and quickly adapt to different challenges. Starting in IT, he was able to take part in the evolution of technology in the legal space. His experience in both law firm and service provider environments has given him a unique perspective on the implementation of technology by legal teams, and he’s been acknowledged as an industry leader in the eDiscovery space.
