Melina Efstathiou
Melina is acting Head of Litigation Technology of Eversheds Sutherland since August 2019 and brings with her over 12 years’ experience in the legal technology sector. Her remit includes building on the firm’s existing suite of technology solutions for disputes and investigations work. A recognised Leader in legal technology and an eDiscovery Subject Matter Expert in GenAI, she has been passionately leading the Litigation Technology Team handling complex litigation, arbitration and competition cases and high profile highly sensitive Public Inquiries. Melina’s teams deliver solutions on eDiscovery, Trial Preparation, electronic bundling, case management and document automation. Melina most recently worked at Relativity where she was Senior Customer Success Manager with responsibility for client on-boarding, integration and successful adoption of Relativity’s technology in traditional and alternative use cases.
Melina is a qualified lawyer, and before moving into legal technology spent eight years practising law, specialising in financial crime and complex fraud investigations, with her most recent presentation focusing on Financial Crime and AI at the Council of Europe.
Matthew J. Hamilton
Matthew J. Hamilton is a civil litigator and eDiscovery counsel with more than 28 years of experience representing clients in complex pharmaceutical and medical products liability, data breach, antitrust, and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of federal multidistrict litigation (MDL), coordinated state court actions, class actions, and other complex matters. His practice encompasses all phases of eDiscovery, from preservation and collection to cost-effective review and production. Matt is certified in legal project management and legal lean sigma, with a singular focus on client value.
Danny Chan
Recommended Canadian Lexology Index E-Discovery practitioner, Danny Chan’s background in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph gave him the ability to understand and quickly adapt to different challenges. Starting in IT, he was able to take part in the evolution of technology in the legal space. His experience in both law firm and service provider environments has given him a unique perspective on the implementation of technology by legal teams, and he’s been acknowledged as an industry leader in the eDiscovery space.

His tenure at Holland & Knight LLP, and its predecessor Thompson & Knight LLP, solidified his reputation as a leader in legal support services delivery and litigation support management. In his role as Discovery Counsel and Vice President, Analytics and Review Operations at HaystackID in Dallas, TX, Kevin was instrumental in managing the Managed Review Division, focusing on operations, review management, and strategic planning. His innovative approach in leveraging the latest in automation, data analytics, and predictive technologies and artificial intelligence has distinguished him as a visionary leader in legal project and process management.
Kevin holds a Juris Doctor from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Illinois. He further advanced his legal qualifications by completing the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) at the University of Oxford, leading to his admission as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Additionally, Kevin is admitted to practice in Texas, the District of Columbia, and Illinois.

Kelly Friedman

Kelly Friedman is the Chief Legal Data Intelligence Officer and Senior Counsel at Heuristica, where she combines over 30 years of legal expertise in commercial litigation, privacy and regulatory law with her tech savvy to help solve the toughest data challenges.
Prior to Heuristica, Kelly was Senior Counsel & National Leader at Beyond eDiscovery, BLG, where she spent six years offering unique expertise in electronic information matters across a range of areas including data breach response, data governance consulting, e-discovery, privacy, and regulatory monitoring.
As a founding member of the Legal Data Intelligence (LDI) project, Kelly sees LDI as a “problem-solving process” where everyone, regardless of department or business, ultimately wants the same thing: to uncover the insights and information buried under massive data volumes.

Ross Gotler
Ross Gotler is Deputy Chair and Counsel for E-Discovery at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. In this capacity, Ross provides guidance on law, technology, and best practices relating to the discovery of electronic information. Leading the firm’s Information Systems Discovery & Data Intelligence team, Ross oversees a range of services and technologies designed to provide data solutions for complex disputes and investigations. As a Fellow of Information Privacy, Ross also offers insights into data privacy issues, particularly in the context of cross-border discovery.
A recognized thought leader, Ross frequently speaks and writes on topics related to discovery, legal data intelligence, and data privacy, including contributing to numerous publications by The Sedona Conference. Ross has served on the steering committee of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production, including as chair of its Publications Committee, and is a member of The Sedona Conference Leadership Council.
Ross has been named an "AI Visionary" for his efforts in promoting and adopting AI and advanced technology in the discovery process. His team was the first law firm group to obtain ISO 9001 certification for quality management of discovery services and has been recognized as a "Legal Technology Trailblazer" for developing and introducing an innovative case management and collaboration platform, honored with the American Lawyer Industry Award for "Best Use of Technology," and presented with the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law award for E-Discovery Technology and Innovation.
Dina Hetherington
Dina is a senior eDiscovery and legal consultant with over 25 years of experience supporting complex disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters. She has deep expertise in managing large-scale, data-intensive matters and in designing defensible, technology-led eDiscovery workflows that align legal strategy with operational execution.
In her role as Senior Consultant at Ethical eDiscovery, Dina advises organisations on eDiscovery and DSAR programmes, with a particular focus on AI-enabled processes and defensible data handling. She works closely with legal, compliance, and operational teams to design and implement scalable workflows that address high-volume data, regulatory risk, and cross-border considerations, ensuring proportionate and auditable outcomes.
Dina also serves as a Senior eDisclosure Consultant at CMS, where she supports large, complex eDiscovery matters for disputes and investigations. Her work at CMS involves the practical application of advanced review methodologies, including continuous active learning (CAL) and generative AI-driven workflows, to manage and analyse significant data volumes efficiently and defensibly. CMS’s leadership in GenAI adoption provides a platform for Dina to work at the forefront of evolving legal technology practices in contentious matters.
Across both roles, Dina brings a process-driven, systems-thinking approach to legal data challenges, combining technical fluency with legal judgment to help teams navigate complexity, scale effectively, and extract meaningful insight from data in high-stakes disputes and investigations.
Tristan Jenkinson
Tristan Jenkinson is the Head of Forensics and Investigations at Sky Discovery.
With a combined background in eDiscovery and digital forensics, Tristan Jenkinson specializes in providing strategic consultancy on investigation matters, complex litigation cases and responses to regulatory authorities. He has seventeen years of experience in the industry, working on high profile litigation cases, complex multi-jurisdictional fraud and bribery investigations, OSINT investigations, breach of sanctions investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory investigations. He also has experience in criminal matters.
Jenkinson has provided witness statements and expert reports to courts in the UK and Europe, and provided deposition testimony in the US. He has been appointed as a single joint expert and written joint expert reports with opposing experts. He is regularly engaged to analyze the reports or comments of opposing experts and vendors, across both eDiscovery and digital forensic matters, identifying inconsistencies, omissions and inaccurate statements.
Jenkinson regularly writes and presents on topics relating to eDiscovery, digital forensics, investigations, generative AI, fraud and OSINT.
Chuck Kellner
Chuck Kellner is an expert ediscovery strategist with a record of success helping clients give and get the discovery they need with fairness and proportionality. His role on Everlaw's Value Engineering team brings innovation and positive impact to resolving disputes. A recognized legaltech evangelist, Chuck writes and teaches CLE at industry events on the trends impacting the legal profession.
Chuck’s experience includes Litigation and Practice Support Manager for an Am Law 50; litigation support operations director for a Big Eight; and consultant and executive for ediscovery consulting, services, and business development for legal industry leaders. He has testified as expert on issues of cost and burden, appropriate uses of technology, adequacy of production, and on findings from computer forensic examination.
Chuck holds a BA from Brandeis University and JD from Lewis & Clark Law School. Among several organizations, he is a past executive board member of the New England Legal Technology Professionals (NELTP) and the The Sedona Conference Working Group 6. He is a project team member for the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). He is a certified Everlaw Litigation Support Manager and a ProSci Change Management Practitioner.

Glenn Melcher
Glenn Melcher serves as Vice President, Public Sector at Cimplifi, where he provides strategic guidance to federal, state, and local government entities, government contractors, and non-profit organizations on eDiscovery processes and emerging technology applications. He also serves as a Legal Data Intelligence Architect in the Disputes and Investigations working group.
Glenn brings over three decades of experience building and operating eDiscovery programs within federal government agencies. As Senior Special Counsel for eDiscovery and Information Governance at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, he established the agency's comprehensive eDiscovery program from the ground up, providing legal guidance on enforcement actions, investigations, and information governance. Prior to this, he created the eDiscovery office at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where he managed preservation, collection, review, and production across an organization of 100,000+ employees. His earlier career includes over a decade as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Department of Justice Tax Division, litigating complex cases against major corporations and partnerships. In addition, Glenn had the honor of serving his country as a United States Foreign Service Officer.
Glenn's government experience spans both enforcement and compliance perspectives— prosecuting cases while also advising agencies on discovery obligations, FOIA requirements, and data governance under resource constraints and political oversight. This dual perspective provides unique insights into how organizations navigate the collision of legal holds, transparency obligations, investigative demands, and operational realities.
Glenn also is an active participant in The Sedona Conference, serving on the brainstorming committee for an AI governance framework and the drafting committees for commentaries on legal hold management and Rule 45 subpoenas. He speaks regularly on the unique challenges at the intersection of eDiscovery and government operations.
Glenn holds a J.D. from Catholic University of America, an LL.M. in International Taxation from McGeorge School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Daniel Miller
Daniel Miller is Senior Counsel, E-Discovery & Information Governance, for Coinbase. In this role, Daniel advises the company on complex records preservation and collection issues, legal hold practices, electronic discovery in legal proceedings (including complex civil litigation, government investigations, arbitrations, subpoena responses, and internal investigations), and records management, record retention, and information governance. Daniel manages the work of a core electronic discovery team and its IT support personnel to complete e-discovery tasks for specific cases, to improve internal e-discovery processes, to develop strategic plans for e-discovery services, and to evaluate e-discovery vendors and solutions for the company. To support Coinbase’s information governance goals, Daniel guides defensible data management practices for internal legal teams and provides input on broader corporate data management and disposal policies. Prior to joining Coinbase, Daniel was a Partner in the e-Discovery Analysis & Technology ("e-DAT") Group of the internal law firm of K&L Gates LLP, where he practiced law for over seventeen years with a focus on counseling clients (including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, large non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies) on a broad range of electronic discovery, information governance, and data privacy matters.
Linda Sheehan
Linda Sheehan is Head of intelligENS and an Executive at ENS, Africa’s largest law firm.
With experience across law firms and service providers working in Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom, Linda brings a cross-disciplinary perspective to complex data challenges. A former solicitor of England and Wales and eDiscovery professional, she designs defensible, end-to-end, data-driven workflows for disputes and investigations across multiple jurisdictions. Her work spans domestic and international regulatory and enforcement matters and extends into adjacent areas such as data subject access requests and data breach response. She supports both in-house and external clients with technology‑enabled, cross‑border data strategies.
Recognised as Relativity's 2024 AI Visionary, Certified Master, and Certification SME, and a finalist in an innovation security award, Linda brings together legal knowledge with technical and operational expertise. She has contributed to sector practice through thought leadership and speaking at leading legal and legal technology conferences.
Jeremiah Weasenforth

Jeremiah Weasenforth is a founding member of Legal Data Intelligence.
Throughout his legal career, Jeremiah has been at the forefront of bringing AI/ML to streamline legal processes and harness the power of data analytics to drive winning outcomes. Operating at the intersection of technology, data and the law, Jeremiah brings a first-principles approach to solving complex legal data challenges. Some of his recent projects include building a human effort metric to streamline contract lifecycle management (using a machine learning model to quantify the level of hours a contract is likely to take up) and using data analytics to identify key opportunities for operational efficiency.
Today, he hopes to build further awareness around how Legal Data Intelligence can help legal professionals level up their careers.

Brian Corbin is a VP, Legal Solutions and Operational Excellence, at QuisLex, where he leads initiatives across each of the firm’s managed service lines to optimize legal and compliance processes for QuisLex’s corporate and law firm clients. He has 20 years of experience in the legal industry, and before joining QuisLex, he served as an Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel, with JPMorgan Chase. There he managed teams spread across four continents and oversaw a global partnership between lawyers, technologists, data analysts, law firms and ALSPs to drive change through onshore and offshore right-sourcing, continuous process improvements, and delivering enterprise-class software and legal automation solutions to the bank.
Earlier in his career, Corbin managed offshore service delivery at a legal managed services company in Bangalore, India, and practiced at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. He is based in Berlin, Germany.
Michael R. Mendola
Michael R. Mendola is the Director of eDiscovery and Data Governance at Discover. He founded the legal eDiscovery function at Discover and built a team to support the broader organization across all phases of the EDRM. Michael specializes in providing advice and counsel on electronic discovery, data/records management and information governance. Previously, Michael served as Senior Vice-President at HSBC Bank USA, where he founded the eDiscovery function as well.
Kayann Fitzgerald
Kayann is the Director of eDiscovery and Practice Technologies at Davis, Wright, Tremaine LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm. With her extensive experience and knowledge of law firm operations, specifically related to litigation, ESI, and eDiscovery, she has a deep understanding of industry best practices and key performance indicators to drive business and strategic goals. In her current role, Kayann oversees the firm's in-house eDiscovery department and support professionals, ensuring consistent and exceptional work product and service delivery. In addition, she collaborates with the firm’s Information Governance department and Security Office to promote and maintain the highest of standards associated with data hygiene and data security. Kayann has developed and implemented firm-wide eDiscovery initiatives, managed service provider relationships and contracts, and conducted in-house trainings for attorneys and staff. She is regularly called upon to evaluate, develop, audit, and deploy defensible technologies, case strategies, and project management concepts, both in-house and on matters involving external resources. Kayann’s unique background and skill set allows her to interpret and collaborate across numerous law firm practice groups, further optimizing efficiencies and advantages for the firm and its clients, while empowering practitioners at all levels. Additionally, Kayann has mentored and directed litigation paralegal departments and document review teams, has been an active participate on client advisory boards, and has presented on numerous panels including at LegalWeek, IPE/NBI seminars, and Women in eDiscovery.

Lourdes Fuentes is the Founder and CEO of Karta Legal, an award-winning consultancy transforming legal practice management and operations. She launched Karta Legal to bridge the gap between traditional legal practices and the transformative potential of technology, empowering law firms and legal departments to operate more efficiently, ethically, and innovatively.
A seasoned litigator admitted to practice in New York, Washington, D.C., and before the U.S. Supreme Court, Lourdes combines deep legal expertise with technological insight. Her areas of specialization include generative AI, eDiscovery, data privacy, cybersecurity, and process optimization. Under her leadership, Karta Legal was named a 2021 National Law Journal Technology Trailblazer for its innovative, three-pronged approach to legal transformation: training, process refinement, and strategic technology alignment.
A graduate of Penn Law, Lourdes holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Legal Project Management, and Privacy. She is a pioneer in change management within the legal sector and a frequent speaker on topics such as generative AI, data privacy, and the gender gap in law and technology. As a Latina leader in a predominantly homogeneous industry, Lourdes is passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of diverse legal professionals.
Honored as a 2024 ABA Women of Legal Tech recipient for her groundbreaking contributions at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, Lourdes continues to advance the legal profession through her work with Karta Legal and her involvement with Legal Data Intelligence (LDI) Architects. Her commitment to innovation, inclusion, and excellence serves as a guiding force in shaping the future of legal operations.
Dawn Garrison
Dawn Garrison serves as Director of Proposal Marketing for Lighthouse and as a Legal Data Intelligence Architect within the Business of Law group, where she bridges advanced data capabilities with the practical needs of modern legal operations. In her dual role, Dawn focuses on aligning Lighthouse’s technology, analytics, and AI‑driven solutions with the outcomes that matter most to Business of Law professionals—improving operational efficiency, strengthening cost predictability, enhancing matter performance, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
With a background in complex solution storytelling and legal technology strategy, Dawn translates sophisticated data intelligence workflows into clear, actionable value propositions for law firms and corporate legal departments. She partners closely with product, data science, sales, and client‑facing teams to craft proposal frameworks and solution architectures that address real‑world challenges across eDiscovery, investigations, compliance, and legal operations optimization.

Jason Kairalla
Jason Kairalla is Director of Operations and Lawyer in Residence at Prevail.ai, an AI-powered digital platform supporting remote, hybrid, and in-person regulatory, administrative, and legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
Jason is an experienced litigator, legal innovation lead, and former federal judicial law clerk. He chaired the Federal Court Practice Committee of the Florida Bar Association and co-chaired the American Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee. For nearly twenty years, he worked as an innovation lead and litigator in elite American law firms representing sophisticated clients in complex cases. His practice involved defending individual and class-action cases on behalf of financial services institutions. He also litigated complex business disputes and matters of constitutional, environmental/land use, media, and intellectual property law. He advises, speaks, and writes on legal issues presented by new technology, including AI technology and e-discovery.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where was a member of the Law Review, Order of Coif, and Iron Arrow Honor Society. He has a Bachelors in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of MIami’s Herbert Business School, both with high honors.
Stacy Lettie
Stacy Lettie is a senior legal operations and strategy executive with more than two decades of experience transforming legal departments into high-performing, data-driven business partners. After nearly 23 years practicing law as an in-house attorney, Stacy has spent the last 15 years specializing in Legal Operations—driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and scalable infrastructure across global organizations.
Stacy currently serves as Chief of Staff to the General Counsel at Organon, where she leads Legal Operations and Strategic Planning for a complex, global legal function. In this role, she partners closely with executive leadership to align legal strategy with enterprise objectives, optimize performance, manage risk, and deliver measurable business impact.
Throughout her career, Stacy has built and scaled legal operations capabilities across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth global startups, with deep expertise in legal analytics, process design and optimization, workflow automation, technology implementation, vendor and financial management, and cost control. She is known for translating data into actionable insights, modernizing legacy processes, and implementing practical, innovative solutions to complex operational challenges.
A recognized thought leader in the legal operations community, Stacy serves on the CLOC Executive Board, is an active member of CHIEF, and sits on advisory boards for Priori and Wolters Kluwer. She is frequently sought out for her perspective on legal department transformation, executive partnership, and the evolving role of Legal Operations.

Carl Morrison
Carl Morrison is a distinguished professional in the legal field, and Accredited Legal Operations Professional (ALOP), recently joining the Otsuka Pharmaceuticals team as Senior Manager, Legal Operations, leveraging his skills in information governance, eDiscovery, data privacy, and analytics. Before this, he was the Chief of Staff, Legal Data Intelligence Strategy, at modCounsel.
Morrison is renowned for his expertise in legal operations, where he has significantly contributed to the development of foundational education for legal operations professionals, focusing on areas such as Service Delivery Models, Information Governance, Project Management, and Firm & Vendor Management. His skills extend to legal data intelligence, where he adeptly navigates the complexities of data challenges across various use cases, helping senior leadership run the legal department as a business. His commitment to the legal industry is evident through his active involvement in organizations like the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC).
Morrison’s dedication to enhancing the legal industry is further demonstrated by his role as a Legal Tech Innovation Roundtable Advisor, a World 50 company, where he provides mentorship to innovative legal technology companies.
