Introducing the Legal Data Intelligence Steering Committee

Author: LDI Team

December 23, 2025

Since its launch in May 2024, the Legal Data Intelligence movement has blossomed into a community of professionals eager to build a runway for success during a transformational time.

LDI founding members, Architects, and Ambassadors have worked together to create and share a collective vocabulary and build LDI model use cases for 20 pressing and complex legal challenges currently facing teams across industries. They’ve built a framework and a volume of content that legal practitioners can look to for the thought leadership, inspiration, and practical tools they need to deliver even more value to their organizations—particularly when faced with new and novel challenges.

As LDI's momentum continues to build, the need for a coordinated, strategic structure becomes more important. In the interest of delivering the highest quality guidance to the industry, we’ve established a new Legal Data Intelligence Steering Committee. This group is tasked with guiding the initiative’s vision, overseeing alignment across the model categories, and ensuring that our collective efforts advance the discipline of LDI in a meaningful and sustainable way.

Following a formal selection process, Steering Committee members were chosen to represent the diverse expertise and perspectives of the Legal Data Intelligence community, including LDI founding members, Architects, and Ambassadors.

What This Means for LDI Professionals

For legal professionals who want to leverage their existing legal, data, and technology skills to create more value for their organizations, view legal data as an opportunity rather than an obstacle, and advance their careers, the committee’s work—alongside the LDI founding members, Architects, and Ambassadors—will elevate the guidance and standards that come from the initiative and allow them to effectively respond to evolving industry dynamics.
